Might as well try to bump up mathews contract. However mathew probaly takes a hometown discount like tavares and accepts what eichel got just to be with a real hockey team.

Yes, they have promised him that they would pursue Auston once he requests a trade out of Canada. They indicated they would be willing to oversheet him as well. Yeichel likes that kind of gumption.

You can bet your bottom dollar Arizona will offer sheet him . I am guessing if the cap goes up or even stays at its current level the offer will be 13 million per season 7 seasons .
